A vedere il grafico della stazione di rilevamento della regione Piemonte, sembrerebbe che a Limone Piemonte non ci sia più neve. Una fantastica illusione che, in realtà, deriva semplicemente dal fatto che il grafico arriva a misurare fino a tre metri di neve: qui come vedete a sinistra di neve ce ne è molta di più (circa 3 metri e mezzo)!
E parliamo di una misurazione a 1800 metri (non una grande altitudine sulle alpi).
Si preannuncia ancora un Aprile di grande sci in Europa... per le stazioni che avranno il coraggio di tenere aperti gli impianti.
PS Limone Piemonte e altre stazioni Piemontesi (ad esempio MondolèSki, Prali, Macugnaga) ci provano: aperti fino al 1° Maggio!
Seeing the graph of the monitoring station of the Piedmont region system, it would seem that in Limone Piemonte (Italy) there is no more snow. A fantastic illusion that derives simply from the fact that the graph can measure up to three meters of snow: here as you can see on the left there is a huge mass of snow (around 3,50 meters)!
And we speak of a measurement at 1800 meters (not a very high altitude in the Alps).
April promises to be still great for skiing in Europe ... for stations that have the courage to keep lifts open.
PS Limone Piemonte and other Piedmont stations (ex. MondolèSki, Prali, Macugnaga) give it a go: open until May 1st!
